Postgraduate Program in Cultural Performances
Description:
The problems investigated in Digital Humanities are diverse. They involve aspects related to the contemporary experience with technology and that are carried out through the methodological approximation between the human sciences, the applied social sciences and the computer sciences, with a focus on computational and social performance. Constituting an interdisciplinary investigation praxis around the concept of Digital Humanities, this book aims to discuss the modes of cultural performances mediated, motivated and registered by technological apparatus. Specific themes for articles to be submitted to the book include, in a purely exemplary and non-exclusive manner, the development of products, processes and theoretical knowledge that provide new ways of conceiving and analyzing images, interactive media, audiovisual productions, games, hypertexts and social behaviors in digital contexts, thus expanding the scope of study of the technology and its relationship with the cultural performances.
