A-fetus is an interactive installation featuring a human figure in the fetal position that reacts to the approach of an interactor. The presence of another person calms the fetus, while their absence is perceived as a lack of affection, triggering convulsive movements.
Fetus, affection, proximity, vigilance, and care are the themes explored in the installation. Its soundscape is based on a heartbeat that responds with the same intensity as the fetus: calm in the presence of others and accelerated in their absence.
