The Media Lab / UFG conducts research and technological innovation in order to make the UFG national reference in the area, with the following objectives:

• Implement prospective studies of technological innovation;
• PPGs help in the development of masters and doctoral students projects, which are articulated with the areas in which the Media Lab UFG;
• Disclose the advances in technology culture in the segments of the Media Lab UFG, the partirde promotion of artistic and scientific events, local, national and international;
• Facilitate research whose axes are articulated with the axes of the Media Lab UFG
• Maintain open dialogue with Brazilian and foreign researchers, strengthening research in UFG
• Establish agreements with other research centers of the same themes
• Closer relations with the market, prospecting solutions / innovations with commercial / social use
• Offer post-doctoral training;
• Receive visiting professors and researchers for research development;
• Provide scientific residence and / or artistic, from own programs and / or insured PPGs;
• Offer of specialization and extension courses in topics of the Media Lab UFG.
