Scare Crows Van Gogh

The interactive work "Scare crows Van Gogh" allows, through a specific software and hardware, the process of interaction with the screen "Wheat Fields with Crows" by Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh.

Interface based on gesture recognition, interactive system asks the interacting to transcend the contemplation of the original painting, to achieve an interaction with the elements depicted in the form of scare crows. The movement made the interacting in front of the projection, produces actions in painting birds, fleeing. This implies a new purpose in the work of impressionist origin. The concept of "agency" was established as the cornerstone of interactive works as presented here.
